You can arrive at the venue at 12 noon on Saturday 23rd to sort out your rooms etc. Then there is an optional lunch that you can book. The program will start at 2pm on Saturday with some workshops. There will a meet and greet evening where we will familiarise you with the proceedings & the facility and for people to get to know one another - we ask you to make sure to attend this meeting.
On Sunday night there will be a Ceilidh delivered by the 'Knitter's Jig' Band. Meanwhile the inside space is at your disposal for the duration except during workshops if they are held in doors. There are many pleasant spots to be found outside and they are all available to you during the weekend. See timetable.
Teachers
On each day there will be two open pushing hands sessions where you can practice with all participants. We will change partners every five minutes – signaled by a bell. On both Sunday and Monday there will be three workshops where you can benefit from the experience of three well regarded exponents of pushing hands: Andrew Heckert, Laura Stone and Serge Dreyer. See teacher profiles.
All three leaders will conduct the sessions simultaneously so that you can choose to work with one or all of them. Each one will deliver a beginner's session to introduce new-comers to the work. See workshop information.
Booking
Full residential & self catering available. See conditions and full booking details.
